Knowledge Base

Welcome to the FansubWiki Knowledge Base. This section contains a collection of personal, custom-written guides or technical documentation submitted by groups or individuals. Most of these are in-depth documents on codecs, programs and certain fansubbing techniques that go far beyond the scope of the Glossary database. Users either upload a text file of their guide and attach it to the listing below, or create a page for the topic directly on FansubWiki.

-To upload a text file of your guide
Submit the file by clicking here for the upload form. Fansubbers who know the upload password can submit a file on to the page's upload list. The site will accept TXT/RTF/HTML/PDF/DOC files under 20MB. Once uploaded, you can link to it by setting it as an attachment on this site (e.g., (Attach:program.zip)) in the appropriate section. "Attach" must be in capital letters and the filename referred to is case sensitive.

If you are sure that the page doesn't exist, and want to write your guide as a new wiki page on the Knowledge Base, enter the title of the page below and press "Create new page."
